Published Work
Over the last two decades I’ve published work across technology, education, fiction, children’s literature, wellbeing, and creative arts. While the subjects vary, they all share a common thread: a fascination with how people learn, adapt, imagine, and connect. From educational resources on Artificial Intelligence to children’s books, science fiction novels, and a few deliberately irreverent colouring books, each project reflects a different aspect of my creativity, curiosity, and willingness to take an idea from concept to completion.
This page is a collection of that work. Some titles are professional, some are personal, and some are simply proof that life is too short to be serious all the time.

Published Work & Contributions
Exploring technology, education, resilience, creativity, and storytelling through books, educational materials, articles, and published works.
Every publication started as a question, a challenge, an experience, or a spark of curiosity. What follows is a chronological record of the ideas I chose to turn into something tangible.
Science Fiction Novels - November 2026
I am thrilled to announce that the first books in the highly anticipated new series, The Unveiled, will be available for general sale on November 30, 2026. This milestone is particularly meaningful to me, as it marks the culmination of over 20 years of dedication and creative development. The inception of this series began on an inspiring evening atop the hills back in 2005, where the initial concepts and characters were first envisioned. I am incredibly proud of the journey that has brought us to this moment and cannot wait to share this epic tale with all of you.

KS4 Materials - March 2024
Contributing to Key Stage 4 educational materials on Artificial Intelligence was a particularly rewarding experience. Having witnessed AI evolve from early expert systems and Deep Blue to today's generative models, it was a privilege to help create resources that introduce the next generation to one of the most transformative technologies of our time.

What is AI?
Issues: Independence Educational Publishers
It was an absolute pleasure to contribute to this Key Stage 4 material focused on Artificial Intelligence. Mind blowing to think that when I was in High School AI was still very much in its infancy, with computing power starting to increase and the birth of ‘Deep Blue’.

Childrens book: The Fish & The Cat - January 2024
I had so much fun with this! The story was one I had written for my son a few years back. We discovered it during a spring clean and he encouraged me to illustrate and release.

Navigating Adversity- June 2021
Although this series was not initially planned, it emerged from a deeply personal experience. After the passing of my husband, I realised there are very few resources available to help neurodivergent children cope with the loss of a loved one. Thus, this series was born. Utilising simple social stories and clear imagery, the series is designed to ensure that the information can be easily understood and processed by children with additional needs. It aims to offer comfort and guidance during challenging times, providing the tools and support necessary for these young minds to navigate their emotions and experiences.

Childrens book: Flo & Teddy Visit the Fair - December 2013
I was inspired to write Flo and Teddy by my two-year-old son at the time. Frustrated with books that I found distasteful and not calming for a child's mind, I embarked on a mission to create characters and stories that are both adventurous and soothing. My books are designed to leave a child's mind calm and at peace, ready for sleep.
Unfortunately this is no longer in print, but it is on my to do list to resolve that! I did find some old reviews and a screenshot of when we hit the best sellers on Amazon!

Other Colouring books in print, created and released 2013 – 2016:
Educational: New Scientist - 2006
In 2006, one of my submissions was selected for publication within a New Scientist compilation featuring answers to reader questions from scientists and subject matter experts.
Do spiders drink water? If not how do they quench their thirst?
Yes, spiders do drink water. In the wild, most will drink from any available source such as droplets on vegetation or the ground, and from early morning or evening dew that has condensed on their webs. For those kept in captivity, it is a good idea to provide a fresh water source such as a small bottle cap or damp sponge for smaller species, or a small dish for larger species such as tarantulas.

Writing has always been the thread connecting my professional and creative worlds. Whether developing educational resources, exploring emerging technologies, creating stories for children, or building fictional universes, every publication represents the same underlying goal: making complex ideas more accessible, meaningful, and human.
