About Me
Louise Cousins
Digital Leader. Creator. Writer. Explorer.
I have spent more than two decades working at the intersection of technology, user experience, strategy, accessibility, and digital transformation.
Today I lead global digital operations across international education brands, overseeing digital experiences that serve millions of prospective students worldwide. My work spans websites, user experience, accessibility, governance, attribution, analytics, compliance, AI, and large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
Alongside my professional career, I am a published author, musician, visual artist, and creator with a long-standing fascination for the relationship between technology, creativity, and human experience. I enjoy exploring how emerging technologies are changing the way we create, communicate, and connect.
While the tools and technologies continue to evolve, the principle that guides my work remains the same:
Technology should serve people. Creativity should move them.
This website brings together ideas, experiences, projects, and observations from both my professional and creative worlds.

Leadership & Digital Transformation
Over the last two decades I have built my career at the intersection of technology, user experience, strategy, accessibility, and organisational change.
Today I lead global digital operations across international education brands, overseeing websites, user experience, accessibility, compliance, attribution, analytics, governance, and digital transformation initiatives. My work focuses on creating digital ecosystems that are not only technically effective, but accessible, measurable, sustainable, and genuinely valuable to the people who use them.
Throughout my career I have led multidisciplinary teams, delivered large-scale digital programmes, and helped organisations navigate increasingly complex technology landscapes. From digital strategy and operational governance to AI, analytics, accessibility, and customer experience, I am passionate about creating solutions that balance innovation with responsibility.
As technology continues to evolve at remarkable speed, my focus remains constant: creating digital experiences that are accessible, inclusive, ethical, and designed around genuine human needs. Innovation should not replace humanity. It should amplify it.
Creativity & Exploration
Creativity has been a constant throughout my life.
My interests span writing, music production, visual art, publishing, design, and digital creation, often exploring themes of resilience, identity, transformation, memory, and the relationship between humanity and technology.
Whether working with words, sound, visuals, or digital experiences, I am fascinated by the power of creativity to help us understand ourselves, each other, and the world around us.
Through writing, visual art, and music production, I enjoy exploring atmosphere, emotion, and storytelling across different creative mediums. Many of the ideas that influence my creative work also shape my professional thinking, particularly around innovation, empathy, communication, and human-centred design.
For me, creativity is not simply about producing things. It is about exploration, learning, and seeing familiar ideas from new perspectives. Many of the skills that have shaped my professional career, curiosity, problem-solving, empathy, and communication, have been strengthened through creative practice.
Some of this work is released independently through personal creative projects, including original music, digital art, and published writing.
Life Beyond Work
Outside of work, I am raising two remarkable boys who continually challenge me to see the world differently.
Life is often busy, unpredictable, and occasionally chaotic, but it has taught me resilience, adaptability, empathy, and perspective. Many of the values that guide my leadership, creativity, and decision making have been shaped not only by professional experiences, but by the realities of parenthood, loss, responsibility, and perseverance.
My experiences with neurodiversity, both personally and within my family, have shaped many of my views on accessibility, inclusion, communication, and human-centred design. They continue to influence how I approach leadership, technology, and the creation of environments where people can do their best work.
These experiences have reinforced a belief that success is not measured solely by achievements, but by the positive impact we have on the people around us.
