It was an absolute pleasure to contribute to this Key Stage 4 material focused on Artificial Intelligence. Mind blowing to think that when I was in High School AI was still very much in its infancy, with computing power starting to increase and the birth of ‘Deep Blue’
The growth of technology has been exponential, in fact if we look at the law of accelerating returns we won’t experience 100 years of progress in the 21st Century, it will be more like 20,000 years if we keep progressing at todays rate! Phenomenal!
NB: For the youngsters: Deep blue was the first computer based chess system to beat the reigning world chess champion.
